Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
In the product page, we would like to display a list of downloadable files without having to create individual download links.
Current situation:
I installed an add-on called Sizimis Download folder.
It creates a list of files based on a location on our website.
There are some problems with that:
- When clicking on an item it opens directly in the web page, when hitting the return button, one goes to the beginning of web page. Not nice.
- we need to enter two paths. one is relative to the concrete5 root, the other one is with the http address.
Proposed solution:
Ideal would be if we could use a general download location and then use a filter to select pdf files that contain a key word such as the product name and language. We would then receive a list of downloadable files, based on this critera.
Even better would be, if the criteria could be specified as a page property or custom attribute.
If this is not possible, we could life as well with a fixed folder location and we just list all files in that folder.
Important: files have to open per default in a seperate tab or window.
Perhaps you have a better solution for this.
