Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
General information for the website: Helicopter website
Num. of web pages/modules: 200
Description of requirements/features: We need someone to copy 200 pages from a Business Catalyst site into a Wordpress site following a specific guide for each page.
The website itself is: http://www.atlashelicopters.co.uk, be aware that it is only the "content" area of the page, not the surrounding template.
The basic process would be:
1. Copy the page's HTML from the old site
2. Create a new page in WordPress with the same URL (or .htaccess redirect if not possible to recreate URL)
3. Copy the HTML into the new page
4. Remove any inline styling from all elements
5. Add specific classes to various elements of the HTML (e.g. add "inline-image" to any inline images)
6. Add pre-written shortcode into the page (guidance will be given how and where)
7. Mark as awaiting approval on the list that will be provided
8. Make any changes requested in the feedback for that page (such as, more the inline image down a paragraph)
The template for all the pages to be dropped into will be built already, all that is required is the content for the pages themselves. Anything outside of copying HTML, shuffling around images and paragraphs, removing styles and adding classes would be outside of the scope (you won't be asked to ADD anything fancy).
The new site is fully responsive, therefore you must have some experience with the following:
Wordpress,
Responsive websites
Specific technologies required: HTML, CSS
Extra notes:
