We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build the MVP version of a modern mobile-first web platform focused on community reporting, public awareness, and social engagement.

The platform combines:

Structured user-generated reports Short-form media capture Community interaction Reputation-based visibility Social sharing Moderation systems

The goal is to create a fast, scalable, and visually modern platform that allows users to submit incidents, interact with community-driven content, and engage through a dynamic feed-based experience.

This project should feel more like a modern social platform than a traditional website.

MVP Requirements Core Features 1. User Authentication Registration/login Email verification Profile management Session handling 2. Report Submission System

Users should be able to:

Create reports/posts Add descriptions and categories Attach short media evidence Submit through a mobile-friendly flow 3. Short Recording Feature In-platform recording only Max duration: 20 seconds Automatic compression preferred Optimized for mobile browsers 4. Feed & Discovery System

Homepage/feed should include:

Trending posts Search functionality Category filters Engagement counters Responsive card layouts

The feed should feel modern, interactive, and social-media inspired.

5. Community Engagement

Users should be able to:

React/vote on reports Comment Share publicly Interact with trending content

Visibility should be influenced by engagement activity.

6. User Profiles

Profiles should display:

Activity history Submitted reports Engagement metrics Reputation indicators 7. Admin Dashboard

Admin functionality should include:

Content moderation User management Report review Abuse handling Basic analytics Design Requirements

The UI should be:

Mobile-first Modern and minimal Highly responsive Fast-loading Social-platform inspired

Preferred styling:

Next.js / React Tailwind CSS Supabase or Node.js backend PostgreSQL Cloud storage integration

The application should be scalable and structured cleanly for future expansion.

AI-assisted development is acceptable if code quality and maintainability remain strong.

This is an MVP-focused project.

Priority should be placed on:

performance clean UI/UX scalability mobile responsiveness maintainable architecture

Advanced features and future phases will be discussed after the MVP is completed.

    Hi Ibrahim, could you confirm whether the 20-second media feature must support in-browser recording only, or whether users should also be able to upload existing video/photo evidence from their device? That changes the storage, compression, moderation and mobile-browser build route.

    Understood, member-only video posting makes sense for moderation and trust control.

    Could you confirm whether non-members should still be able to view and share approved reports publicly, and whether the MVP roles should be limited to Member and Admin, or include a separate Moderator role as well?

    2. Do you already have UI designs/wireframes, or should we handle the full UI/UX direction as well?
    3. For short recordings, do you want only video capture or both photo + video support inside the platform?

    A few important questions from my side:

    * Will reports/posts be public immediately after submission, or should moderation/approval happen before visibility?
    * Do you expect location/geolocation tagging to play a role in feed discovery or incident relevance later?
    * Is anonymity/pseudonymous posting important for users submitting sensitive reports?
    * For the 20-second recording feature, should recordings be stored permanently, or expire/archive after a certain period?
    * Do you already have branding/UI direction prepared, or would part of the work involve helping shape the product UX and interaction flow as well?
