Hi John,
Would you be open to remote collaboration if we can demonstrate the required technical expertise and provide the level of support you're looking for? -

Since the website is intended to evolve into a complete training platform, would you like the student portal, LMS, bookings, and certification systems to share a single authentication architecture from day one, even if those features are introduced later?
Regarding the welding videos, should the platform treat them as controlled training assets with role-based permissions and audit logging, or are some videos expected to become public marketing content after approval?
For AI-assisted social publishing, should the AI generate drafts that staff approve before publishing, or are there scenarios where fully automated publishing is desirable once confidence thresholds are met?
Do you anticipate training videos eventually growing beyond short 1–3 minute clips into a structured video library with categories, progress tracking, and learning pathways, or will they remain standalone resources?
Would you like the future booking system, Stripe payments, student records, and certificate generation designed around a unified database now, so those modules can be introduced without migrating data later?
How important is ownership and portability of the platform? Should every component—from AI automation to video storage—avoid vendor lock-in so it can be migrated between cloud providers if required?
Do you already have a preferred hosting strategy (AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, dedicated VPS), or would you like recommendations balancing long-term scalability, security, GDPR, and operational cost?
How do you envisage measuring success after launch—through training enquiries, completed course bookings, engagement with training videos, social media growth, or operational efficiency?
Would you be open to a 30-minute architecture workshop before development begins? Given the number of future modules you've outlined, I believe investing that time upfront will help ensure the platform is designed once and scaled for years rather than repeatedly re-engineered. -

Hi John, Could you confirm the intended lifecycle for each 1–3 minute welding video: once MEG staff upload it, should it remain a controlled training asset inside the website, or should approved clips also be available for public pages and the AI/social media automation workflow after admin review?
-

Please clarify
1. Since the brief specifies UK-based developers only, would you consider working with an experienced overseas team that has successfully delivered projects for UK businesses?
2. Do you already have the branding assets and UI designs, or would the design phase be included?
3. Should AI social media publishing be fully automated or require manual approval before posting?
4. Approximately how many videos do you expect to upload each month?
5. Will uploaded videos be accessible only to internal staff, or will selected videos be shared with students in future phases?
6. Do you already have a preferred hosting provider, or would you like recommendations based on performance and cost?
7. Should the student portal and online booking system be included in Phase 1, or should the architecture simply be prepared for them?
