Build a marketplace platform for Even Hub

For the July launch, do you already have the vendor data/content and final designs ready, and should the initial version include only the core directory, search, vendor onboarding, messaging and reviews, with payments remaining integration-ready for a later phase

Hi Lanre, one point I’d like to understand around the future Stripe integration — when payments are introduced, do you see Even Hub primarily charging vendors a subscription/listing fee, or do you eventually intend customers to make purchases/bookings through the platform with Even Hub taking a commission?

I ask because those are quite different payment models, and knowing the direction now would help make sure the initial marketplace architecture doesn’t need restructuring later.

Your brief mentions delivery by July, which has now passed. what is the revised target date for the Even Hub launch?

- How should the vendor approval and onboarding process work? Could you clarify exactly what information a vendor must provide during registration, such as business name, category, address/location, contact details, images, website and social links?

- How should customer-to-vendor messaging work? When a customer submits an enquiry, should the conversation happen entirely within the platform, or should the system primarily send the enquiry to the vendor by email?

- How should search and location filtering behave? Could you clarify whether location search should be based on UK cities, towns, counties, postcodes, or geographic distance from the customer?

Will vendors manage and update their own profiles after approval, or should all listing changes remain controlled by the Even Hub admin team initially?

Before starting, is your completed design available in Figma or another format?
