Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need someone who can help with what is mostly CSS customisation but might possibly also require some child theme edits to certain pages, or perhaps the functions file.
I am pretty familiar with the Avada theme so can do most of the build for this particular project myself but I am not so hot on CSS so I would prefer to find someone who already knows what they are doing and pay them rather than waste my time.
The requirements are quite simple. The first is a styling change to the way blog post appear in a 3 column grid. I just need it so the blog category appears above the excerpt in a slightly narrowed white box which overlaps the featured image - See example screenshot 1.
Secondly there is a requirement for an alternative way to display posts, again in a 3 column grid but without the white box - I assume it might be possible to achieve this by creating so custom styling and then assigned a CSS class to the container that needs to display the posts this way. See example screenshot 2.
Finally there is a requirement to display what will effectively be featured posts in a section on the page where the featured image, that would normally be square is forced into a landscape orientation image and with the blog category and excerpt appearing underneath. See example screenshot 3.
I have setup a development site to work on and will provide access in order to start work as soon as possible - https://dakotas15.sg-host.com/
