General information for the business: Music Industry Social Networking Site
Description of requirements/functionality: I am currently working an a WordPress / BuddyPress social networking site for music professionals of all abilities. The base for the site is now complete, however, I have found the media plugins currently available for BuddyPress to be particularly limited.

I am therefore looking for someone to build a custom media plugin that is BuddyPress compatible and emulates some of the features found in Soundcloud.

The plugin needs to include the following features:

Music, Video and audio upload - with an attached field to state where music tracks can be purchased.

The ability to edit and delete media files previously uploaded.

Music tracks uploaded to be added directly to a playlist (similar to Soundcloud).

Ability to tag other members with all media files (music, video and images.

Ability for other members to comment on media uploaded.

Option to add Youtube videos.

Ideally, I would like the audio playlist to be visible in the sidebar / widget area.

When submitting a proposal, please provide examples of previous work, along with a fixed price for the project. This is a long term project, so there is likely to be further opportunities in the near future.
