QA Analyst – Moodle/LMS Grading Plugin Testing

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst / Software Tester to test a custom grading application/plugin integrated with Moodle and other LMS environments.

The application includes student and instructor workflows, exercise submissions, automated grading, scores, feedback, assignment settings, and different exercise/question types.

We need someone who can understand the LMS workflow from both the student and instructor perspective, identify functional and usability issues, and perform detailed end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Test Moodle/LMS plugin functionality end-to-end
* Test Student and Instructor workflows
* Test assignment and exercise settings
* Validate grading, scores, points, submissions, and answer keys
* Test correct/incorrect answer and feedback behaviour
* Test attempts, locking/read-only behaviour, dates, and release settings
* Test different question/exercise types
* Verify configuration changes from Instructor/Admin side correctly affect the Student side
* Perform regression testing after fixes and new releases
* Identify UI/UX inconsistencies and edge cases
* Document bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots/videos, expected results, and actual results
* Work directly with our development/project team to verify fixes

Required Experience:

* Strong manual QA/testing experience
* Previous experience testing Moodle, LMS platforms, or LMS plugins
* Good understanding of assignments, grading, submissions, attempts, feedback, and instructor/student roles
* Experience creating test cases and regression test suites
* Ability to investigate workflows rather than only testing from provided steps
* Strong attention to detail and clear written communication

Experience with Moodle plugins, LTI integrations, automated grading tools, Canvas, D2L/Brightspace, Blackboard, or similar LMS platforms would be a major advantage.
