Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the app: iPhone/iPod/iPad lightning cable diagnostic hardware tool
Description of every page/module: We are looking for a programmer who can program a fully functioning hardware diagnostic tool for any of the iOS lightning cable devices, running iOS7+.
This hardware needs to be as small as possible, needs to use the official apple API’s to read information from the iOS device that is already available on iTunes. (Such as free space left on device (music, video, etc..), current battery charge level, etc..
No specific preferences on the hardware or chips used but it needs to be as small and as accurate as possible
Possible but not necessary to be easy to update if new API changes occur (eg: eprom/ can be rewritten, ).
Output on small LCD screen.
So in short.
One end is a lightning cable that connects to the iOS device.
Other side of that cable is a “small” box that reads such info from the iOS device and displays it quickly on the LCD screen.
Please contact me as early as possible with a quote in USD, expected time delivery, size of diagnostic device. What hardware you think is best and why.
Thanking you in advance
Extra notes:
The deliverable will be a design and a working prototype. The main goal is to have the smallest design and lowest cost but maintain quality.
The device would connect to any iOS device via a lightning cable and would display on a small LCD information from Free Space, Battery percentage, Signal Strength, etc.
