Fix a bug and optimize code

I have a small python project that is mainly algorithmic and I have actually completed the project, however, there is a problem that I am unable to see and I need a review on it. I also need to optimize the code. The project is due on Monday morning and I believe it should take under two hours to complete since it is already 98% completed. I am using Jupyter notebook and will be happy to send you all the info required. Please let me know as soon as you can. Please confirm that you can work with Jupyter notebook.
