Developer Wanted – UK Adult Social Care Management Platform

I’m looking for a developer to help build a web-based management platform for Registered Managers and owners of adult social care services in the UK.

I have over 20 years' experience running a care business, so the concept, industry knowledge and management processes will come from me. I’m looking for someone who can turn those ideas into a simple, intuitive and commercially viable product.

### The concept

This isn't intended to be another cold compliance system full of forms, warnings and dashboards.

The aim is to create an intelligent **management companion** that helps a care manager run their service, stay on top of their responsibilities and become a better manager.

The platform will include:

* A personalised home screen showing what genuinely needs the manager's attention.
* A short daily wellbeing check-in so the system considers the manager's capacity as well as their workload.
* Personal to-do lists alongside automatically generated daily, weekly, monthly and annual management tasks.
* Staff, recruitment, service-user and operational oversight.
* CQC compliance, quality assurance, audits and improvement actions.
* Policies, procedures and organisational documents.
* Simple financial and business-performance oversight.
* Relevant CQC, Skills for Care and wider UK care-sector updates.
* An AI assistant where managers can ask questions about CQC, policies, staff issues, difficult conversations, incidents, management decisions and their own service.
* AI-supported people-management guidance that encourages fair, compassionate and proportionate management rather than simply quoting policies.
* Alerts, reminders and intelligent follow-up of actions.

A major principle of the product is that **complexity should sit in the background**.

Rather than presenting a manager with dozens of outstanding tasks, statistics and compliance warnings, the software should understand what is happening across their service, identify what genuinely needs attention and help them work through it.

The system should feel less like a piece of compliance software and more like having an experienced, supportive management colleague beside you.

### Where I am now

The concept is well developed and I have started designing the key screens and user experience.

I'm now interested in speaking to developers about the best technical approach for creating an MVP.

AI will be an important part of the product, including conversational assistance, using an organisation's own policies/documents as a knowledge source, interpreting management information and potentially bringing in relevant information from trusted external sources.

I would initially like to build an MVP, test it with real care managers and then develop the platform further based on feedback.
