3. Document separated into sections with titles/subtitles
4. Overview of the purpose for the project, functionality, abstract and modules of the project
5. UML class diagram to visually model classes of the project including all member variables and methods
6. Code logic must demonstrate:
o Javadoc code comments
All files include name, etc.
All methods, properties, attributes, fields, etc. have Javadoc
All code includes quality comments interspersed throughout
o File Input & Output
Reading data from a file
Writing data to a file
o Use of:
2 cases of abstraction
2 cases of encapsulation
1 case of inheritance
1 case of polymorphism
1 case of composition or aggregation
2 abstract classes
2 interfaces
o GUI (5 different widgets/graphical elements such a label, menu, frame, button, dialog, etc.)
o Event-driven-programming
1 case of keyboard input handling
1 case of mouse (move or button click) handling
o Handling bad data
One example of testing for bad data entry
One example of using try-except-finally
One example of handling bad data file handling
o Use of at least 5 classes (if extending existing code, at least 3 additional classes and all other class modifications)
o Updated class diagram (may not submit previous version) in a new Microsoft PowerPoint file.
o Code .java files
o Build instructions
o Testing instructions
o The quality of your code will be taken into consideration during grading. This includes file names, variables names, code comments, good algorithm structure, checking for bad data , complexity of code, etc. Code comments should include rationale for the use of constructs such as loops, structures/fields, variable names, etc.
