Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I have 3 different Word reports for schools to be completed with a Mail Merge inserting text and charts. There is a report template for each school phase (Primary, Secondary and FE) and each school within each phase will have a unique individual report with text and charts inserted.
The Merge Field coding for the text insertion is already set up and working, with the code placed in the document and the document linked to a CSV file for the phase e.g. Primary.
The charts are already created in an excel file with an individual tab containing all the charts needed for each report i.e. tab ‘3’ provides all the charts for the report for School ID ‘3’. The excel chart file is linked to an excel data file. Each chart for each report is labelled, e.g. chart ‘3’, and the location for it to be inserted into the respective report is also labelled e.g. ‘3’.
The job is to complete the Mail Merge for the 3 report types (212 for Primary report, 43 for Secondary report and 22 for FE) inserting the text and charts for all 277 reports. The inserted text and charts must not affect the layout of existing elements of the report and the size of the chart inserted must be controlled to ensure it is the right size. You may have to prepare the report templates in advance of the Mail Merge to ensure the layout is not affected by the insertions.
Draft reports will be produced in Word and then checked. The final versions will be provided in Word and pdf. I will be available to provide support throughout the project.
Your proposal MUST include a detailed explanation of how you propose to do the job, including tools used, e.g. VBA, and steps to complete it.
I will accept proposals until 25/09. The job must be completed by 30/09.
