Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: I need a custom feature element for a wordpress website based on http://joelb.me/scrollpath/. It will be a much simpler version of, but similar to this site: http://ianjamescox.com/
IMPORTANT! - I need the scrollpath js functionality to work first and foremost. I am not too particular as to how it is styled as I can do the css component very well. So even if you just do js well then please feel free to quote on that aspect of the job.
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: I need a custom feature element for a website created using http://joelb.me/scrollpath/.
It will be a much simpler version of, but similar to this site: http://ianjamescox.com/
This is NOT a full page feature. The feature element will be 960px by 500px in size and be placed in a header div on the site.
All design, images and fonts are supplied.
I will handle all final content - dummy content to be used for development.
I can also handle the fonts if required.
Description of requirements/features: A single feature element using the scrollpath js (http://joelb.me/scrollpath/ ) as per the documentation on http://joelb.me/scrollpath/ and with styling as per the supplied layered psd.
The feature will contain 18 slides that include:
9 feature slides (example shown in example_destination_01.jpg) that are linked from a navigation (shown on left hand side of example_destination_01.jpg). These destination slides have a div that contains an h3, p and p with a link to a relevant page in the site.
+
9 slides that are scrolled across between these navigation destinations (example shown in example_scenery_01.jpg) - these slides are on the path but not linked to by the navigation.
+
A navigation element that remains at the base of the feature and that links to each of the destination slides.
The path should take a virtual journey around a site so I envisage a vaguely circular pathway with twists and turns but NO full 360deg rotations - ! would like some of the 90deg rotations but no further please. That said, i’m not too particular as to how the journey goes.
The path should loop back to the first slide to complete the path.
Similar urls: http://ianjamescox.com/ and http://joelb.me/scrollpath/ use the scrollpath js but as a full page element.
Extra notes: As source i am supplying:
The background image: 0-background.jpg
Numerically ordered destination slide images
Numerically ordered scenery slide images (each number 1a-, 2a-, 3a- etc..)
The supplied psd contains: the background and the text and image layout of the 9 slides.
All images except the PSD are attached.
The PSD will be supplied upon commencement of contract.
