Web Application Software - PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION FULLY

PLEASE READ OUR REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING. WHAT WE REQUIRE NEEDS ADVANCED CODING KNOWLEDGE.

We're looking for someone to develop a piece of software for our WooCommerce/ Divi Themed WordPress website.

We produce personalised football comics, where we aim to put make the user feel as though they are inside the story.

Here’s a full breakdown of the steps of what we want this software to do.

Step 1
The user chooses their favourite football team and a male or female version of the comic.
(we are in the process of creating multiple variations of the comic. The variations cover all UK football teams. For each football team there is a male and female version of the comic)
The software needs to line up the chosen variation (for example ‘Liverpool FC’/female version) for the next step.

Step 2
The user inputs the following information on a contact form. This information then needs to appear at certain points in the comic.
a. First name and surname
b. A personalised message

Step 3
The user can also choose skin tone and hair colour of the main character. We require the software to change the skin tone and hair colour of the main character.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT WANT TO PROVIDE A COMIC TEMPLATE FOR EVERY COLOUR VARIATION. 4 SKIN COLOURS, 4 HAIR COLOURS & 3 EYE COLOURS WOULD RESULT IN 48 TEMPLATES FOR EVERY TEAM. BASED ON 20 TEAMS THIS IS 960 VARIATIONS. WE NEED TO AVOID THIS.

WE'LL BE PROVIDING ONE TEMPLATE PER TEAM (20 TEAMS IN TOTAL). YOUR SOFTWARE MUST BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE HAIR, EYE AND SKIN COLOURS IN A SINGLE TEMPLATE.

Step 4
The user can then press a ‘preview button, they can then see what the comic book will look like, with their personalisation.

Step 5
The user presses order. They complete payment.
We already have payment portals set up and ready to go.

Step 6 - IMPORTANT
The software then generates a personalised version of the PDF (or jpeg) of the full 28 page comic book, with the user’s information. This is sent directly to our printers.

PLEASE NOTE: We want this step fully automated so that it doesn’t need any additional input from us.

Step 7 - We want to give the user the option to purchase a downloadable version of the comic, if they do not wish to have a printed/hard copy version.
