I am looking to have a pre-existing code file updated from using a PIC18 chip to instead use a PIC12 8-pin PDIP chip. I have the existing code, but there are two changes that I am looking to have done. The first change is to switch from an external crystal to using an internal crystal in the processor still running at 16MHz. The second is to switch around one of the parts of code so if the DIP switch is in the closed position it will run the legacy bonus portion instead of if it is in the open position. As the PIC processor has assignable pin outs I need the person doing the code to tell me what pins need to connect to TX, RX, and the DIP switch so I can complete a new circuit for testing. With this project you will need to update the code from the original file I will send and send me back the new code. This needs to be in BASIC so I can read the code and make sure it is still what is needed before testing. Then I will need the code compiled into a hex file so that I can test the program.
