Experience Level: Intermediate
1. Circuit runs from DC voltage from 5vdc to 24vdc
2.
Circuit has protection for shorts on power and improper wiring
3.
Prefer through hole components
4.
Must provide software
5.
Must provide circuit diagram
6.
We must agree on process before work begins (processor, discrete components, etc). If this can be done with discrete components that is acceptable.
Input A (inA) - NO - incoming request to open command
Input B (inB) - NO - is open when gate is closed, is closed when gate is open
Output A (outA) - NO - open command for swing gate
Output B (outB) - NO - open command for barrier arm
There could be voltage that is passed on these switches so they should be isolated from any other circuitry as to not damage the components. Voltage could be from 5V - 24V less than 1A or could be no voltage.
Circuit Rules:
1.
When inA is closed inB is checked. If inB is open then outA (2 secs) is closed. inB is monitored. When inB is closed then close outB (2 secs)
2.
When inA is closed inB is checked. If inB is closed then outA (2 secs) is closed and outB (2secs) is closed.
3.
If inA is closed for an extended period of time keep running routine. inA could be NC for extended periods.
