Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Professional services business
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: What we need is a Drupal 7 module that generates a block so that we can assign this to specified pages. The block when appearing on a page should, after a set (configurable) time period display a modal/popup/overlay with configurable text and a signup form to add a user to the simplenews mailing list. It is essential that the process is tied into the simplenews contributed module.
Once the anonymous user has signed up, the modal should close and not be presented to that anonymous user again (cookies?). This functionality is not related to drupal account holders.
The modal should appear int the bottom right of the window so as not to be too intrusive. A good example is here http://sumome.com/app/scroll-box
Ctools, Views, jquery_update and Simplenews are already installed on the site if this is of any use.
Extra notes: This is a small job for someone in the know - please no ridiculously overpriced bids as it'll waste your time and ours.
