Streamline remote site

We have a remote site set up using a windows VPN and Remote Desk Connection. It works OK, but is not very consistent, especially local printing. Would like a "professional" to look at the setup and try and improve on what we have done. Both sites have dedicated IP addresses. Our server is running SBS 2003 and PC's ryun XP Pro. We are located in Alton and our remote site is in Petersfield Hants.
