Issue: The Squarespace page editor freezes/becomes unresponsive when editing site pages (Homepage confirmed, likely others). Blog pages are unaffected and edit fine.
Please check the Custom CSS and Code Injection (Header, Footer, and page-level) for the actual fault. Squarespace error message says it's a script or code block conflicting with Squarespace's own editor.
Secondary issue: on page load, the navigation text ("Home / Legal Services / Team / Case Studies / Clients") briefly flashes in plain, unstyled black text over the hero image before the page finishes rendering. Also, another code issue.

Hi Peter, If site-wide Header/Footer Code Injection is disabled, do both the editor freeze and navigation flash disappear, or only one?
To start immediately, we need:
Site URL, limited Squarespace contributor access, affected page URLs, relevant CSS/Code Injection, and any recent code changes.
