Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
*** Developer must have experience of ESP32, WiFI/BT design and PCB design ***
This project has 2 deliverables:
1. PCB Layout of a minimal config ESP32 with 4Mb RAM and onboard LSM6DSO32 accelerometer (all schematics and files for manufacture)
2. Prototype built and tested (I will use Arduino tool chain for my testing)
The design must meet
a) be optimized for area (so using Ceramic Antenna and probably ESP32 Pico D4). I am looking for small circular or square design ideally <= 1.5cm square)
b) be single sided (compents that is) and as thin as possible.
c) have “test points” for FTDI programming
d) have brake out pins for pads/through holes for external connection to
a. Power/Gnd
b. External I2C
c. External SPI
d. External Rx/TX
e. Minimal onboard BT/WiFI arial (probably ceramic Antenna) as only need to Tx/Rx over 3m but option to solder IPEC connector for external aerial
Developer must have experience of ESP32, WiFI/BT design and PCB design must be signed off (I will check using Arduino tool chain via FTTD) before prototype is built. The developer must also be aware off and comply with EMC certification layout best practices.
Project is for 5 days for design and build with progress/issue updates every day. I will want 2 revisions.
