Software No Longer Working With Change Of PC

There is a simple audio editor program called Polderbits which I paid for a few years back for with a full license. Unfortunately with a change of PC I am no longer able to access this program and unable to buy a new license key as sadly the developer passed away a years ago and the website is no longer operational.

I have the exe file but it will not let me access it as it is only a trial version and requires a new key. The old keys do not work with this. Therefore I need a workaround to either remove the 7 day trial limitation or for it to accept the valid license keys I have. This is not unethical as the license key was purchased and of course with the developer passing I am unable to resolve the issue or buy a new one. The program itself was only £20 but was the best at what it did and was very simply to use.
