Simple web based application

General information for the website: Web Application for UI Testing

Kind of development: New website from scratch

Notes: Prototype Web UI needed for HCI study.

Need a login system, so users can register and make an account.

Need a calendar page, where users can add or remove events to their calendar.

Need a posting mechanism. Where those that log onto the system can post. This then needs to be viewable by anyone who logs into the system. Therefore, creating a community wall.

Need a timer/countdown.

This will need to be implemented in javascript/html/css, preferably with Node and Mongo server side such as the MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS and Node.js).

Description of every page/module:

Home page to display countdown timer, most recent posts and todays calendar events.

Separate page showing all community posts.

Separate page for calendar.

Obviously, all necessary sign in, register, log out pages.

Description of requirements/features:

Calendar needs to be able add events to specific times over any period of time. I.e. Allowing a user to add an events to 12:00 - 13:00 on a Monday with some text 'In a meeting'.

Countdown timer should start at a specified time and continually countdown once the user hits starts.

All users who login to the system can post updates to a community wall. Post is simply some text.
