Description
The prototype already exists, a compiled React HTML file with all UI, design, and core data built. Your job is not to design from scratch, it's to implement a proper backend and make it production-ready.
The app covers four main areas:
Daily allocation — a 14-day calendar view where the office assigns cleaning jobs to staff each day, grouped by area, with a live capacity tracker showing hours available vs allocated per cleaner
Cleaner availability — replaces a manual survey process; cleaners receive a personal weekly link to submit their working hours, which feeds directly into the allocation tracker; includes automatic 24-hour reminder emails
Linen ticket generation — auto-generates printable linen bag checklists from the day's allocation, with checkbox-select for partial printing
Property and cleaner management — simple CRUD for both, with ~300 properties to be imported from a data file we will provide
Suggested stack: React frontend, Supabase (PostgreSQL + auth), Resend or SendGrid for email, hosted on Vercel or Netlify. Open to alternatives. Traffic is very low (~5 concurrent users).
You will receive: the working prototype file, full property data, cleaner data for seeding, and prompt communication throughout.
Deliverables: hosted app, GitHub repo, seeded database, working email, brief admin documentation, handover call.

Hello S.B.
Important Questions for Clear Project Scope
-What format will the property and cleaner data be provided in for the initial import?
-Should cleaners access their availability page without creating a full account/login?
-Do you already have the exact allocation rules for areas, cleaner hours, and daily capacity?
-

-/ Could you please share the current prototype file and, if available, the Figma design or any original design source/reference used to create it?
-/ how are cleaner working hours/capacity calculated when assigning jobs, and should the system prevent over-allocation or only show a warning?
-/ Can cleaners edit their availability after submitting it, and does each cleaner receive a new unique link every week or use one permanent personal link?
-/ ? For linen tickets, does each property already have fixed linen requirements stored against it, or should linen quantities be calculated from booking/guest information? -

Please clarify the following questions:
1. Is the prototype fully functional with the required UI/workflows, or does it currently only contain mock/static data and interactions that need to be connected to the backend?
2. For cleaner availability, should each cleaner receive a unique secure link without logging in, or will cleaners have individual accounts and authentication?
3. For the 14-day allocation system, are there specific business rules for assigning jobs (cleaner availability, maximum hours, area, property location, skills, etc.), or is allocation entirely manual by the office?
4. Do you already have the Resend/SendGrid, Supabase, Vercel/Netlify and domain accounts available, or would you like the developer to set up and configure the complete production environment? -

In order to look at this the actual porotype you have needs to be looked at. I host websites and have MySQL so iI could neatly sort this, but i would need site of the code.

does the daily allocation system need real-time collaboration when multiple office users are assigning cleaners, or is it acceptable for changes to update after refresh/save actions?
