React / AWS Developer Needed to Review/Relaunch Existing Web App

We are a small company looking for an experienced developer to help us review and relaunch an existing web application.

The application was previously developed by an external team and is currently offline. It was built using React (JavaScript) and integrates with a couple of external APIs. The application is hosted on AWS.

We are now looking for a freelancer who can:

• Review the existing codebase
• Diagnose why the application is not currently running
• Get the app back online and functioning correctly
• Help ensure the deployment on AWS is stable
• Potentially provide occasional ongoing support or documentation

What we can provide:

• Access to the code repository
• Access to the AWS environment
• Information about the APIs used
• A high-level overview of how the system should work

Ideal experience:

• Strong experience with React / JavaScript
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs
• Ability to review an existing codebase created by another team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Project scope:

The initial goal is to restore the application to good working order as soon as possible and no later than 19th March 2026. There may be an opportunity for ongoing maintenance work depending on the outcome.
