Description
Experience Level: Expert
We run an escape game, and need an app that will count the score of how much money team got in their game. We have a rfid reader with raspberry pi and 4 antennas, you can find sdks here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Hhkn88o2RJcfgtXNP1S39XqKBWFnP428.
The purpose of the app is to add the values of all tags and then display the total on the screen, in a specific way.
The screen will need to look like picture attached. Colour codes and font names will be provided.
Team name is a text box, where user can input a text.
5%, 10%, Count, Save, Undo are clickable buttons.
The app will work as follow:
Briefcase containing the tags is placed in scanner.
User inputs ‘Team Name’ into the box.
A ‘SCAN’ button is clicked on the screen and the score is calculated with the effect of numbers being flipped through while the score is being counted , once system has the score, bars at the bottom of the screen are filled and final score is revealed.
The bars at the bottom of the screen will display what percentage of each currency is in the total score, eg:
If the briefcase contains a value of £500,000 made up of 50% USD, 25% GBP, and 25% JPY, only those bars fill with USD filling half its bar and GBP and JPY filling a quarter.
There are 15 different tags with a value attached to each and briefcase will contain a mixture of tags with total about 100-120 tags. Some tags will have a value of 0.
eg. Tag code 1000 value 767
Tag code 2000 value 86574
Tag code 3000 value 0 etc
Once the count is complete, there are two clickable buttons that read ‘5%’ and 10%’, that will subtract that percentage from the total at each press.
As each of these is clicked, a ‘Clue Deduction’ total counts up, displaying the final deduction total in percentages.
There is an undo button in case the wrong percentage button is clicked to undo the last press.
Finally, there is a save button that saves the ‘Team Name’, ‘Total’, ‘Clue Deduction’ values and timestamp to a database.
Database can be local on the device, but should be easily accessible.
