Description
Experience Level: Entry
I currently have a simple HTML/Javascript web app that I have built. I am looking to make this into a very simple inventory checking system for around 50 items. I have QR codes on various electronic devices and I am hoping to 'check in' these items. Such as like a checklist to make sure i have them.
The current functionality is that I scan a QR code using the mobiles rear camera. The application decodes the QR code and checks if the prefix of the QR code matches a certain requirement based on conditions stored in a JSON file stored on my server, if it matches then a jQuery popup is shown with the decoded data. This system is currently working but I cannot make the 'check in' functionality work. I am retrieving the items from a CSV file stored on my server and displaying these in an 'Inventory List' I want it so that when the QR code is scanned, I can click a 'Check In' button and this will tick off the relevant item on the Inventory List.
I can provide all code and files and the QR code format if needed.
