Python desktop app with kivy user interface

We need some help writing an application in python.

We are using kivy (kivy.org) as a user interface. The application reads a file from usb stick. The file contains a simple text file which must be parsed. Once the data is parsed it has to be uploaded to our database (e.g. with the python module MySQLdb).

The final application must run on windows, linux and max. There should'nt be any problem with that as all components of python we use are cross platform.

We do not expect that you already know kivy. Kivy is very easy to use so the time

Please comment on following skills we require:
1. Very good experience on user interface design (html knowledge is enough as kivy is very similar)
2. Excellent python skills

I've attached a pdf with the very simple but complete user interface and the text file to parse. The user interface allows to view existing values from the mysql database and allows to upload a txt file (as in the attachmet) to store new entries into the db. Parsing will be specified later, or we can do parsing by our own. Please concentrate on UI development and DB connection.

Important: This is not going to be a website. This is a stand alone desktop python application.
