Product Data Research – Find Direct Product URLs from Websites

Description:
We have a list of approximately 15,000 products (final count to be confirmed), each with an item name, SKU, part number, and alternative part number.

Task:

- For each product, use the part number (or alternative part number) to search across 16 specified websites (Some rows of our data will have multiple part numbers to check).

- If a matching product is found, open the exact product page and capture the direct URL.

- Do not return URLs for search results pages or category listings.

- If multiple matching results are found (e.g., several variants of the same part), return all matching product page URLs, comma-separated in the same cell.

- If no match is found, return “N/A” for that site.



Output Format:
The output should be a csv file containing the original data (which is one row per product). You will them attach the following.

- One column per website.

- Each cell contains the direct product URL or “N/A”.


Ideal Candidate:
You should have some basic technical or mechanical knowledge. If a search returns multiple types of products (e.g., a water pump and an alternator), you must be able to select the relevant result based on the product description.


Trial Task:
We will start with a sample of 100 product lines. Please complete this as a test to evaluate accuracy and approach. The full job will be awarded based on the results.
