Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
We are seeking a proficient PERL (using Catalyst) developer to help with the configuration, analysis and potentially customisation of an existing mature open source application.
The base platform set up and accessible on a virtual private server (EC2 on AWS), ready for configuration and evaluation.
We are looking for a PERL developer that can work with us to help us set up and configure the child theme (complete instructions available) and then assist with analysis, subsequent functional design (and, if you have the relevant skills, delivery) for us to migrate a number of the application services to service orientated architecture leveraging a more modern cloud-oriented stack and a message bus (we are currently thinking Lambda, AWS Eventbridge).
We estimate to start this will be a 1-2 week feasibility assessment and then, all going well, a 4-6 week development project.
Please only apply if you have demonstrable PERL experience.
Ideally, we are looking for someone that also possesses full stack developer experience with Javascript (react, node) and AWS or Azure experience.
