Please add your best price to your proposal, I have had a wide range of prices submitted.
I need some jQuery code developed that I can drop into an existing page containing an HTML form that will modify the behaviour of the form, as described below. I only need to be sent the code, ideally in a jsfiddle that I can use to prove that it works.
An example of the existing form is attached.
I want to just paste the jQuery onto the existing page without modifying the existing HTML code at all.
The jQuery code will need to make the following happen:
1. Modify the action of the submit button so that it calls an additional function *before* submitting the form and carrying out any other "onsubmit" actions.
2. Provide the additional function that will do the following:
a. Modify the value of the "fullname" form field so that it is set to fname + " " + lname
b. Send an HTTP Post using jQuery.post to a URL "http://new.url.to/submit.php" with parameters "fullname=&email="
c. If the HTTP Post succeeds, update the "success" field on the form to be "true"
d. If the HTTP Post does not succeed, the "success" field on the form stays "false"
e. Carry out any other "onsubmit" code for the original form
f. Submit the original form (and redirect to the output as displayed by the URL the form is submitted to, i.e. the default behaviour of submitting the form)
