Hello,
We have a new OSTicket installation. The installation is (mostly) straight out of the box. We need the following modification done to it:
By default, the system creates a submit a ticket/check status of ticket webpage where user's of the system can open a new ticket or check or modify and existing ticket. You can easily modify custom fields as to what is collected. One thing that is customizable is creating a Dropdown that sets the "Department" field to a value. We need to be able to duplicate the page to other URLs, and have the different pages submit to different departments.
For instance, is a user goes to sales.ourwebsite.com the ticket they submit will automatically go to the Sales department, if they use parts.ourwebsite.com it will go to Parts, etc.
You will only need to setup one department and provide documentation. This does not need to be pretty or something programmed in or modified to the interface. I have some programming skills and am fine with the manual process of changing code for every department myself and uploading to the various subdomains as needed, as long as the process you provided works.
Please let me know if you need additional information. You will need to provide a quote with a total, (no open ended hourlies) as well as what timetable you think it will take to complete the work.
