Microsoft Script Lab snippet for Powerpoint

I am making a presentation for museum touchscreen kiosk in Powerpoint. I my current setup I have all touch gestures disabled and they need to stay this way. Navigation is only through pressing the buttons. But I need to display an image and provide 'pinch to zoom' functionality ONLY for that image, nothing else on slide. Hint: web content inserted into slide may have this functionality.
I am looking for a developer to:
1. check if this is possible
2. write a script in MS Script Lab add which will display an image - (probably local html file) and option to add overlay 'pinch to zoom' icon to the user knows that it is available for that image. This image file will be Hi res, I will need an option to show a certain area of the image initially.
