Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I need to share details from a web page into a spreadsheet. For example, on page https://www.immobilienscout24.de/expose/109299845 , I would need to enter the following details into one line on a spreadsheet:
URL, Address, Floor size, Total rent, and the date.
I want to be able to click a button in my browser Favorites bar, and it copies what I need into memory, and I can just do Ctrl-V to paste into my spreadsheet.
Background: Here's what I do: I find apartments for people. That's my job. I do this by using the search functionality of the page I told you about. I find the ones I like, click to send a message to the apartment owner, then copy relevant information into a spreadsheet so I can share it with my client. The client then decides whether they like it or not. Make sense so far?
The problem is, copying and pasting info from the pages is boring and time consuming. So I want a button that just scrapes the info I need, which I then paste into the spreadsheet.

Elliot, do you want this to be done using javaScript only or fine with any?
Elliot H.21 Jan 2019You can do it any way you like. I only said Javascript because I thought it made me sound clever :)
