Description
This is a fully remote role with direct collaboration between our engineering, product, and infrastructure teams. You will work on smart contracts, backend services, blockchain APIs, transaction systems, monitoring tools, and secure integrations with EVM-compatible networks.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain smart contracts and blockchain integrations.
Build backend services for wallets, transaction flows, and digital asset protocols.
Develop APIs, transaction processing services, and monitoring systems.
Improve transaction reliability, gas efficiency, and settlement performance.
Work with backend, frontend, DevOps, product, and compliance-related teams.
Participate in architecture planning, protocol integrations, and security reviews.
Write automated tests and support CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot blockchain, backend, and distributed infrastructure issues.
Improve system observability, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Research relevant Layer 2, EVM, and Web3 technologies when needed.
Requirements
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience with Solidity, smart contracts, and the EVM ecosystem.
Backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Python.
Experience with Web3 libraries, blockchain APIs, wallets, and transaction flows.
Understanding of gas optimization, smart contract security, and blockchain reliability.
Experience with databases, REST APIs, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with stablecoin, DeFi, payment, or fintech products.
Knowledge of Layer 2 networks, cross-chain systems, or bridge integrations.
Experience building high-availability backend systems.
Open-source contributions or public blockchain project experience.
Experience with security reviews, audits, or formal smart contract testing.
Work Arrangement
Fully remote position.
Direct hiring by StableNaira.
Full-time or long-term contract arrangement may be considered.
Compensation will be based on experience and listed through the Hubstaff pay-rate section.
Flexible working schedule with agreed team overlap.
