Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Ability to add events
Description of requirements/features: http://fullcalendar.io/js/fullcalendar-2.1.1/demos/selectable.html
We use FullCalendar within a web application for display only and we want to offer three pieces of functionality:
1) User can drag on the calendar to create an event of a specific type
2) User can also drag the events around - each time they drag and release in the new location, it initiates an update process
3) User can click an event and modify or delete the event.
In each case clicking should display a rich dialog window which captures various additional form information, validates the input and then submits the form into a workflow. The validation and form submission will be in PHP to a MySQL database. All the PHP code to validate and submit etc already exists as this works today from a static form page but we want to add the dynamic interaction directly with the calendar itself,
For all the above the submitted data is written to MySQL database - there should be no redirecting to new pages etc, it all needs to stay on the one page for user friendliness.
