IT Systems Support analyst consultant

IT Support Consultant required to assist us with supporting our clients various IT needs.
Amongst other tasks you will:
- Provide support, maintenance and security to IT systems including networks, servers, pcs, applications and websites
- Conduct daily checks of our Remote Management programs and responding to reports and alerts
- Review and assess clients systems and configurations and provide reports on any issues found
- Respond to request for support from our helpDesk system
- Respond to telephone requests for support
- Provide help in the configuration of new Servers, networks and PCs
- Produce monthly reports for clients, detailing support giving, issues found and any security threats that were discovered
- Produce/maintain client documentation and configuration of systems
- Essential skills are microsoft server and desktop, network equipment, an understanding of TCPIP, web technologies and core business applications (exchange, office, backup, etc) - Additional skills that would be advantageous include security and compliance testing, web and application programming, wireless infrastructures

Should this initial contract be successful then we would consider extending it to more permanent.
