    and make something that records audio to MP3.
    Archive Files every 10mins
    store on a 16gb SD card.
    there will be 90% silence so would Mp3 compress silence well?

    getting files out.
    ftp server running ready to connect to via wifi.

    Crash?
    DO pi's have Kick the dog or heart beat?

    a program i have seen that can do this is called rotter using JACK
