Improve object selection widgets for large numbers of objects.

This project involved modifying existing javascript code that allows a user to make a selection from a set of preexisting objects; the code currently uses a drop-down menu created using the HTML select and option elements. Our system is currently in development, and so large numbers of objects have not yet been created. The first component of the work would be to provide an option to sort the choices into alphabetical order to allow a user to easily find the entry that they want (as is done for countries of the world, for example). Eventually, we anticipate that there could be thousands of objects from which a user might need to select one, in which case a drop-down menu will be impractical even with alphabetization. The second component of work will be to develop a proposal for how to address this, and the third and final component will be to implement the proposal.
