Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a Javascript and HTML 5 developer to develop a simple browser based game for our company as a prototype with the intention of developing further games in the future.
The game is similar to http://www.physicsgames.net/game/Fragger.html, but must be javascript and html 5 based as opposed to Flash and must also work on touch devices. The initial prototype will only contain a few levels as opposed to the many lessons in Fragger.
The game is a projectile-based game. You command a team of mice, the aim being to rescue as many mice from being tested upon in a laboratory by projecting them unharmed over the obstacles and into safety. We have designs for the assets of the game but these may need extending slightly
Users must alter the parameters of the projectile (angle, force and height off the ground) in order to hit a target or to pass an obstacle.
Start with 10 mice and work through levels to get as many mice through.
User keeps mice by successfully avoiding an obstacle or landing in the correct zone.
Obstacle and zone moves with every 2 mice fired from canon.
An inaccurate shot results in only a half mouse (dazed) score for round but next round the mouse is fully restored.
User must score above 70% of previous level in order to progress to the next level.
For prototyping we have been using the LimeJS library, http://www.limejs.com/, which is based on Google Closure, but this is not essential.
