I need to reverse engineer Viber protocol

We need a server-side API, capable of sending messages to Viber users. Viber is a popular messenger for smartphones and tablets.

The sender (phone number) will be an existing Viber user. There's no need to hack authentification, the API must expose at minimum the following methods:

1. register_number(number): will be used to register a real number,
2. confirm_registry(code): will confirm the registry of a number by inputing the received code on real phone,
3. send_message(number, content): will send the message content to a viber number and get a message_id as a reference to the sent message,
4. is_online(number): will check if the subscriber with given number is online or not,
5. message_status(message_id): determine the status of a previously sent message,
6. Any other possible methods ?


And, if you want a bonus,
7. Sending a picture along with some text. send_picture( picture, text ) --> message_id

The API eventually reside on a Linux server and preferably to be coded using python twisted framework, any other proposal is welcome as well.


The API must be handed to us in source code with clear documentation for installation & management.

p.s: Budget is not estimated on something real, we'll discuss it after reviewing the proposal
