Description
Experience Level: Entry
General information for the website: We are a video marketing agency
Description of requirements/features: Not long ago, I was uploading and deleting some files in my ftp at http://advertaken.com, when I realized that I may have accidentally disabled something according to tech support.
You'll notice that my website has a redirect loop. Look at the URL and see that there is a /home.php file that wasn't there before.
I need someone who understands how to correct this error and have my website return to normal.
CMS and Admin requirements: WordPress
PHP
Extra notes: Upon contacting SiteGround Support, I received a response:
Thank you for contacting our Help Desk.
I have carefully checked the case and noticed that home.php as a file is mentioned in this file:
./wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/minileven/theme/pub/minileven/index.php
The exact part of that file is placed below:
* The main template file.
*
* This is the most generic template file in a WordPress theme
* and one of the two required files for a theme (the other being style.css).
* It is used to display a page when nothing more specific matches a query.
* E.g., it puts together the home page when no home.php file exists.
* Learn more: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy
*
* @package Minileven
This leads me to believe that this is a feature of your website that is not properly enabled / disabled. What I would advise you is to review it and revert the changes. More information can be found here:
