Experience Level: Entry
Seeking an expert MQL5 developer to optimize an existing MT5 Expert Advisor’s live execution without altering strategy logic. The EA performs well on demo but suffers slippage and delayed/missed entries on a live RAW ECN account. Tasks: implement smarter order execution (adaptive deviation, dynamic slippage, IOC/FOK selection, broker capability detection), tick-by-tick monitoring, market-adaptive order submission, and latency/performance tuning (remove blocking code, optimize loops, reduce logging). Deliverables: optimized MQL5 source, change log, documentation of improvements and recommendations for further enhancements. Prior experience with MT5 execution, ECN/RAW brokers, low-latency trading and slippage reduction required; XAUUSD expertise preferred.

    Hi James,

    Could you please let me know which RAW ECN broker you're using and whether the slippage and missed entries occur only on XAUUSD or across other instruments as well? I'd also like to know if I can review the existing EA and execution logs to identify whether the issue is broker latency, order execution, or code-related before recommending changes.
