Geographical data and visuals

I am a designer doing a research project and am in need of specific information on a landscape in the southern hemisphere . To do this to be able to track certain things , get photographs of the space at certain times of the year, data like heat / wind etc . I have been told you need to code or use certain software I don’t know how to . I want to end up with some images , maybe a gif compilation ? And 3d models sensing different things visualising and spatialising data ?
