Frontend (Javascript, HTML, CSS) developer needed for ongoing work

Our software consultancy is looking for a reliable frontend or full stack developer to join our team as soon as possible, initially on a part time basis of 1 - 2 days per week with the possibility to expand for the right candidate. You will need to be able to work both independently and closely with other members of our team depending on the nature of the project. We're based in Alicante, Spain, but are happy to work with remote developers as long as they are able to stay in touch and have some overlap of timezones. Please not that we are looking for an individual and not a team or agency.

Ideally we are looking for a frontend developer, but full stack experience and back end development (particularly any Python experience) is a huge plus. This position would be ideally suited to a mid level or junior developer with the drive and ability to learn on the job.


You will ideally need:

- To be able to work and problem solve independently, but also be willing to ask for assistance when necessary (no lone wolves please!)
- To be a good communicator and have a high standard of English - you will be expected to communicate regularly with the rest of the team on your work via our issue tracking system, will need to be able to read and understand requirements and communicate directly with our clients.
- To be experienced with up to date HTML + CSS and responsive frontend development.
- To be able to implement designs from various design media (e.g. photoshop and / or zeplin.io)
- Ideally some experience or a willingness to learn the following tools and libraries - jquery, vue, angular (2+), bootstrap (3+)
- Some experience with Docker, Vagrant or other virtualization / deployment systems as we use these on most of our projects.
- Experience working with git and to be able to understand and follow the 'Github Flow' working process.
- The ability to manage your own time and prioritise your work accordingly.
- To be able to accurately review a requirement and follow through it's implementation, and to be willing to ask for assistance or clarification.
- Able to undertake research work and willing to self teach when necessary.
- Be able to follow coding standards as specified.


Bonus points for experience with (please mention these in your response):

- PHP & Wordpress (this is a MAJOR plus)
- Typescript
- SASS
