Description
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of requirements/functionality: I require someone to create custom or integrate open-source graphing tools.
Currently the exchange software is using coffeescript & highcharts but they look rubbish. There is a bit of a design element to this but it's mainly just sticking to existing colour schemes. The containers for the graphs are already built you just need to fill it and link it up via the socket (pusher) etc.
There is a main chart and a depth chart. The depth chart displays the depth of market orders (i.e. Buys/Sells).
The exchange back-end is built using Ruby on Rails and many of the templates use the .slim framework. You should be familiar with this before taking on this job.
I've uploaded screenshots so you can see what the graph and depth currently look like and their containers.
Ideally if you could aim for something similar to https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_strat that would be ideal.
The exchange is heavily customised now but you can find the github of the original opensource exchange solution here: https://github.com/peatio/peatio - hopefully that can give you a better idea of implementation/costings/timescale.
Specific technologies required: Ruby, Rails, Javascript

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the invite.
Is it possible to initiate a private conversation (need you to reply to this to initiate that), and possibly some way to access the dashboard?
Thanks
UmerBen M.17 Apr 2017Hi, sure.
Umer F.17 Apr 2017Thanks Ben.
When you said the containers are already built/available, were you pointing at the HTML containers (in which to render the charts?) or also the data containers (possibly filled in already after consuming the exchange API?)

What about the API ?
Ben M.16 Apr 2017There is already an API and would presume the current highchart solution takes the data from somewhere - if that's what you mean.
