Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need assistance in writing/porting code to communicate with a pressure sensor (specifically MS5837) via I2C using Silicon Labs Wireless Starter Kit (with BGM11S Blue Gecko Bluetooth Module).
The firmware to communicate/interface with the pressure sensor has already been written for the Arduino platform (See ref 2) and needs to be ported over to something usable in the Silabs IDE.
The goal is to be able to read temperature/pressure from the sensor using the BGM11S (plugged into a Wireless Starter Kit - see ref 1) via the SDA/SCL lines.
Experience using SiLabs Simplicity Studio is required.
Ideally the developer should be able to modify an existing example (e.g. SOC-Thermometer) in the Simplicity Studio - so the output is from the MS5837 pressure sensor.
More work to follow if this part of the development is successful.
