Excel VBA template - add/delete rows to template and clear cells upon data validation select.
I have added the data validation lists to the same worksheet which uses an indirect series of formulas to produce dynamic ranges for the various data validation inputs.
The problem is, when I add or remove rows on the template, these static data validation ranges become misaligned when adding/deleting the rows.
At the top of template form, I have 'Bill' from 1 to 7 - the idea is that when the user selects the bill, the subsequent data validation lists in the tables below in the same form are updated dynamically. This is to eliminate user-error so that only the applicable inputs are available to select.
See the attached screenshots - I have highlighted 2 inputs, the first to select the bill and the second to select the applicable inputs which is available under that bill. I have also made a screenshot of bill 1 so that you can see data validation list that gets pulled through to the first screenshot.
I have tried to move the data validation lists into a separate worksheet but couldn't get it to work.
This needs to be done ASAP. Further adjustments will be needed once this is done. Thanks
