Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
probably quite simple excel task. I have a spreadsheet with a column full of cells that reference a small text file (.txt).
I want something written that:
1) For each cell in a column, it looks up the .txt file in a specific folder
2) Returns the contents of the text file (it just has a sentence or two of text)
JUST TO CLARIFY.......
The actual spreadsheet is 25,000 rows. In the example attached I want C2 to show the contents of the text file that is referenced to in D2 (34894.txt is a text file). All the text files are in one folder. the text files just contain a sentence or paragraph of text.
