Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
My problem/ requirement is as follows:
I run a care business with over 150 staff and many different types of contracts with several pay rates. I need to automate turning a verified timesheet into a 4 weekly pay sheet. This will also have to be accessed by the admin team to input more data from another type of contract.
1. A weekly paper timesheet comes in – this has to be manually checked and the corresponding computer copy is then ticked off, in some cases the person who carried out the call changed and again in some cases mileage added. All this will need to be manual.
2. Now I want the verified spread sheet to lookup the correct pay rates of each carer for the correct number of hours completed and allocated to 1 of 5 types of contract with the addition of a mileage number X a mileage rate.
3. The wage values along with the contract type will then go into a 'week' column and build a 4 weekly wage slip per carer. This sheet is for staff info as there are not enough pay elements in Sage Payroll for all the different variables to be input in this format. Additional input will have to be available to input data from a slightly different type of contract that will need to be put in manually.
4. The 4 weekly wages need to be compressed into a wage value for each carer on each of the contract to be manually input into Sage Payroll including a separation of mileage.
5. In addition the gross wage values of each contract type overall then needs to be available that can be manually inputted into Sage Accounts so I can separate my direct labour costs on my P&L
On contact i can send a sample workbook that contains the different types of data and a currently what the 4 weekly sheet looks like.
Many thanks
Simon
